Job Description

1. Planning & Surveying:

- Conduct site surveys and geological assessments to determine optimal extraction methods.

- Design quarry layouts, benches, and haul roads for efficient material extraction.

- Monitor and update quarry development plans to maximize resource utilization.

2. Operations Management:

- Supervise drilling, blasting, crushing, and screening operations.

- Ensure proper stockpiling and quality control of extracted materials.

- Coordinate with production teams to meet output targets while minimizing waste.

3. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:

- Implement and enforce safety protocols (e.g., PPE, hazard identification, risk assessments).

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (dust control, water management, rehabilitation).

- Conduct regular safety inspections and incident investigations.

4. Equipment & Maintenance Oversight:

- Monitor the performance of quarry machinery (excavators, loaders, crushers).

- Liaise with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment efficiency.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting:

- Track production metrics, material yields, and operational costs.

- Prepare progress reports for management and regulatory authorities.

- Use software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, quarry management systems) for planning and reporting.

6. Team Coordination:

- Supervise contractors, technicians, and laborers.

- Provide technical guidance and training to site personnel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM1.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
