Job Description

Supervise and monitor daily site works related to JPS projects (drainage, river bund, flood wall, culvert, embankment, etc.). Ensure construction activities comply with

JPS specifications

, drawings, and method statements. Plan daily work targets and allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors. Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and JPS representatives for inspections and approvals. Inspect and verify that all materials and workmanship meet JPS quality standards. Ensure concrete, steel reinforcement, formwork, and finishing works comply with design requirements. Prepare site records, inspection forms, and quality reports for submission. Monitor testing activities such as soil compaction, concrete cube tests, and material sampling. Implement and enforce site safety policies in accordance with

JPS and CIDB safety regulations

. Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure all workers use proper PPE. Report and document all incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Promote environmental protection measures, especially in river or drainage work zones. Track daily progress and report updates to the Project Engineer or Project Manager. Maintain daily site diaries, manpower records, and material usage logs. Assist in identifying project delays, constraints, and propose corrective actions. Support in preparing progress claims and documentation for JPS submission. Monitor delivery, storage, and usage of materials on-site. Ensure plant and machinery are in good working condition and properly utilized. Verify quantities and ensure minimal wastage of materials. Coordinate site activities between subcontractors, consultants, and the JPS site representative. Attend site meetings and inspections as required. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with JPS requirements.

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
