Job Summary

Responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site engineering works for bridge construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities for bridge works: piling, pile caps, pier/column construction, abutments, girders, decking, drainage, and finishing. Interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical plans. Prepare and review method statements, work procedures, and inspection checklists. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure smooth execution. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets engineering standards. Monitor project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Verify materials delivered to site and ensure they meet specifications. Liaise with consultants, project managers, and relevant authorities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2-5 years' experience in bridge or heavy infrastructure projects. Strong technical knowledge of structural and bridge construction works. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiar with site safety requirements and local regulatory standards. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.

Preferred Skills

Experience in government or major infrastructure projects.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
