• Responsible for managing a project\'s engineering and technical aspects.
• This includes coordinating with various teams, managing schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and providing technical guidance to team members.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, local authority employees, architects and other professionals, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\xe2\x80\x8b

• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports, and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required
• Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel\'s performance) and report regularly on project status.
• Assign responsibilities and mentor the project team.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Delegate tasks to team members according to their skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.
• Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients.
• Great leadership and organizational skills.

• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects
• Great written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical/ Civil Engineering * At least 3 - 5 years experience in a related field
