Site Engineer

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To assist Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager in all site matters
- Ability to read and understand drawings and Architecture
- Project progress reporting, coordination of project meetings, and resolving project issues.
- Planning and managing project implementation and construction of project works to meet all requirements.
- Participate in site meeting, reviews inspection schedule, complete inspection checklist.
- Ensure that workers and subcontractors adhere to site regulations.
- Familiar with local standard quality implementation and safety aspects in the construction industry.
- Able to Coordinate and communicate with all sub-contractors or suppliers to ensure smooth progress on site.
- To ensure all material received is in order and place it at the right location
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Building or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction industry.
- Possess strong knowledge, skills, and experience in project management and hands-on experience at the site.
- Able to lead and supervise site workers.
- Required skill(s) : MS Office, MS Project & AutoCAD.
- Knowledge or familiarity with ISO 9001.
- Candidate must possess own transport
- Required Language(s): Mandarin - due to business nature
- Able to travel.
