Advise the Installation Manager on-site staffing level requirements.
Conduct the on-site daily pre-task briefing.
Ensure attendance within the Work Area at all times and provide full time superintendence of the Works.
Receive instructions from the client and act accordingly.
Provides or arranges sub-system specific technical support for equipment installation.
Responsible for interfacing with the relevant Civil Works contractor and other WPCs to ensure sufficient coordination of the appropriate sub-system equipment installation works.
Responsible for the day-to-day interfacing with the other WPCs to ensure the interfacing works is properly coordinated in accordance with the IMPs and ICDs.
Assists the Installation Manager to ensure that all installation staff complies with the Safety & Health requirements, Method Statements and PICO Procedure Inspection & Testing Plans.
Ensure the correct installation drawings are used on-site and obsolete installation drawings are recalled and removed from Site including co-ordination with the Civil WPCs civil drawings.
Ensure all the changes / red mark drawing / approval drawing to be available during PICO.
Manages the materials, tools and equipment on Site.
Ensure all installation drawings and documents are updated and kept current to relevant revisions.
Ensures that "As-Built" information is recorded as the work progresses.
Prepares snagging lists/reports and ensures these are processed correctly and communicated to the Installation Manager.
Manage installation related snags.
Qualifications:
A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any other equivalent discipline.
2 to 5 years working experience in Construction or Installation Rail (System Communication).
