*Supervise and oversee the work of Electricians and Instrument Techs, responsible for training and testing, responsible for maintenance of and compliance with electrical safety program, including LOTO System.
*Must have working knowledge of all applicable electrical industry standards and recommended practices, e.g. NEC, IEEE, ANSI, ISA, NEMA, CP5 & etc.
*Must have the knowledge and experience of instrumentation used to control and monitor processes in the chemical processing/ Oil & Gas industry.
*Must have hands on knowledge and experience with various types of instrument and electrical systems, equipment and software.
*Experience and ability to manage electrical and instrumentation engineering projects with knowledge of how to establish estimates for VO/Change Order works.
*Managing, allocating resources and ensuring completion of E&I work orders.
*Leading the electricians and instrument techs in finding and executing solutions to E&I problems on site.
*Planning and organization of some non-capital E&I project work, including plant shutdowns/ TAR works.
*Able to have understanding the control system architecture and software sufficient to find and modify elements.
*Communicating with Project Engineer/ QC engineer to validate and document all changes and highlight to PM for changes that shall involve additional works.
*Nominating and training Instrument/ Electrical Techs capable of doing works well.
*Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis.
*Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organizational and legal requirements as well as project requirements.
*Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
*Produce procurement schedules for the jobs and liaise with the procurement department to ensure site have adequate resources to complete the tasks.
*Produce ITP's with QC Engineer and Task Briefings.
*Produce 2 week look ahead in conjunction with the Site Agent.
*Comply with company procedures and legal obligations.
*Promote and comply with environmental compliance.
*Deliver the works safely and to deadline.
*Promote best practice for Safety , Quality and Productivity.
*Ensure work is delivered defect/ snag free.
*Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities and innovative ideas and closely working with CM.
*Coordinate with client and other Contractors for the project interface activities.
*Managing project scope and change control with commerical or without commercial impact.
*Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan , closely working with construction team & project management team with leadership skills .
*Monitoring project progress and performance.
*Providing status reports to the management regularly .
*Working closely with main contractor and client to ensure the project meets the required needs.
*Production of accurate records, drawing registers and weekly Reports.
*Must have good relationship with Site team & client technical representative .
REQUIREMENT
*Must obtain Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Instrument Engineering.
*Possess 2 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry, construction field and electrical and instrument field.
*Must have valid CIDB & OGSP.
*Must have AME medical report.
*Able to start immediately and work at Pasir Gudang Johor.
