DDegree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum less 1-3 years of working experience in slope stabilization, earthworks, or geotechnical projects.
Knowledge in soil nailing, rock bolting, shotcrete, slope protection, and retaining structures.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
Familiar with site safety requirements, especially for slope and high-risk works.
Able to prepare site reports, progress updates, and basic technical documentation.
Good communication skills with workers, subcontractors, consultants, and management.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willing to travel and be based at project sites as required by the Company.
Physically fit and able to work in challenging site conditions.
Possess own transportation is an added advantage.
Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
Job Scope:
Supervise all slope stabilization and geotechnical works including soil nailing, rock bolting, shotcrete, retaining structures, and slope protection systems.
Ensure all slope works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Monitor ground conditions and immediately report any slope movement, cracking, or instability issues.
Coordinate daily site activities with workers, subcontractors, and machinery operators.
Enforce strict compliance with site safety regulations, especially for high-risk slope and drilling works.
Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure full compliance with PPE requirements.
Monitor and control project progress according to the approved work programme.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports to management.
Monitor material usage and control wastage of steel, grout, wire mesh, shotcrete, and drainage materials.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of site materials and slope equipment.
Coordinate inspection works with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities.
Maintain full documentation including inspection forms, test reports, as-built drawings, and site records.
Monitor and coordinate testing works such as soil tests, grout tests, and pull-out tests.
Ensure environmental control measures such as erosion control, silt traps, and slope drainage are properly implemented.
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and execution of slope works.
Take immediate action during slope-related emergencies and assist in mitigation works.
Maintain good communication between site teams, management, consultants, and clients.
Carry out any other duties related to slope and geotechnical works as assigned by the Company.
