Bruker Nano, one of Bruker's four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.

This role is located at Bruker Nano's facility in Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Functions as a trusted HR advisor to employees, to people managers, and to site leadership, covering a variety of Human Resources activities.
  • Assist in talent acquisition activity, including sourcing, recruitment, offer creation, and onboarding.
  • Assists managers with job classification and position leveling.
  • Acts as an ambassador of our culture and partners with site leaders to foster a dynamic, high-performance, people-oriented environment which emphasizes innovation.
  • Works closely with managers and leaders to create a positive employee experience.
  • Provides resolution to questions and concerns in a timely manner, including interpretation of company policies for management, assisting management to address employee performance issues, supporting compliance efforts, and coaching on changes in relevant laws/regulations.
  • Conducts investigations regarding potential misconduct and policy violations.
  • Facilitates the domestic inquiry process and provides counsel regarding discipline and discharge as needed.
  • Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects as needed.
  • May assist in the formulation of compensation objectives, manpower goals, performance management, personnel policies, and procedures.
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Experience as an HR Generalist supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with practical application of Human Resource principles and practices, including talent acquisition & management, compensation, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
  • Proficient in the use of social media, job boards, and other marketing channels.
  • Able to gather, analyze and draw practical conclusions from data, as well as communicate data findings and influence key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Malaysian employment laws and regulations, including immigration policies and practices.
  • Able to build internal networks and form relationships across all levels of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 5 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience
