Supervise and inspect daily site construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Monitor workmanship quality for
CSA, architectural, and M&E works

Ensure construction works comply with
authority requirements, codes of practice, and statutory regulations
.
Inspect materials delivered to site and verify compliance with approved samples and specifications.
Witness site tests, inspections, and commissioning activities and record results accordingly.
Identify defects, non-conformance, and deviations, and ensure timely rectification by contractors.
Maintain accurate
site inspection records, daily reports, and photographic documentation
.
Monitor contractor work progress and highlight issues affecting quality, safety, or schedule.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site supervisors on technical and quality matters.
Assist consultants during inspections, audits, and authority visits.
Ensure compliance with
health, safety, and environmental (HSE)
requirements on site.
Verify works prior to concealment (e.g. concreting, backfilling, ceiling closure).
Assist in reviewing
as-built drawings
against actual site conditions.
Support project handover activities including snagging, defect listing, and rectification tracking.
Attend site meetings and provide clear feedback on site conditions and workmanship.
Act as the client's or consultant's representative on site to safeguard quality and compliance.
Requirements
:
Certificate / Diploma / Degree in
Civil Engineering, Building, Architecture, M&E
, or related fields.
Minimum
2-5 years
of relevant site experience (depending on project scale).
Experience in
building, infrastructure, or government projects (JKR/JPS/TNB preferred)
.
Strong knowledge of
construction drawings, specifications, and site practices
.
Familiar with
QA/QC procedures, inspection checklists, and defect management
.
Good understanding of
construction safety standards and HSE requirements
.
Able to read and interpret
CSA, architectural, and M&E drawings
.
Good observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills to coordinate with contractors and consultants.
Proficient in basic
MS Office (Word, Excel, reporting)
.
Willing to be
site-based
and travel when required.
