This position involves coordinating the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel to support the construction and operation of the substation.

How You'll Make an Impact

Creating detailed logistics plans that outline the transportation, storage, and handling of materials and equipment required for the project. Coordinating delivery schedules to ensure that materials and equipment arrive on-site when needed, minimizing delays in construction Managing inventory levels of materials and equipment, ensuring that necessary supplies are available while minimizing excess stock. Overseeing the receipt of materials and equipment, inspecting them for quality and compliance with specifications before they are accepted on-site. Planning transportation routes to ensure safe and efficient delivery, considering factors such as road conditions, weight limits, and delivery windows. Assisting in the development of site layout plans to optimize the placement of materials, equipment, and work areas for efficient workflow. Implementing effective storage solutions for materials and equipment to ensure easy access and minimize the risk of damage or loss. Ensuring that all logistics operations comply with safety regulations and best practices, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials. Ensuring that all transportation and logistics activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintaining accurate records of all logistics activities, including delivery schedules, inventory levels, and equipment usage.

What You Bring

A degree in logistics, supply chain management, construction management, or a related field is often preferred Familiarity with logistics software, project management tools, and inventory management systems. Previous experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or construction project management, particularly in high voltage or electrical projects, is beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
