SITE QUANTITY SURVEYOR

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Melaka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract management, and overseeing claims for construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and review accurate cost estimates for all site works. Manage and oversee claims from main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Handle contractual matters, including negotiations and claims management. Assist in the preparation and management of construction contracts, tenders, and award procedures. Ensure proper pre-subcontract management, including defining scope of work and contractual obligations. Monitor and control project costs, preparing timely reports and recommendations. Liaise with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance. Maintain thorough documentation of all contract-related activities and correspondence. Support in resolving contractual disputes and claims efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of relevant experience in contract management, cost estimation, and claims handling within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of cost estimation, construction contracts, and claims management. Sound understanding of pre- and post-contract procedures. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
