Job Description
Responsibilities:
Enforce compliance with the
Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (OSHA)
and all relevant regulations at project sites. Plan, organize, and conductsafety inductions, briefings, and Toolbox Meetings
for site personnel and subcontractors. Inspect worksites to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures. Monitor site activities to ensure full compliance with safety requirements throughregular audits, inspections, and issuance of Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs)
. Liaise with statutory authorities and agencies such asDOSH/JKKP, BOMBA, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB
, and others to maintain compliance with legal requirements. Prepare and submitmonthly Safety Audit Reports
and provide recommendations to management. Advise management on updates to safety legislation, industry standards, and best practices related toOccupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSHE)
. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; analyze root causes and propose corrective/preventive measures. Keep up to date with new safety codes of practice and circulate relevant information to employees. Promote astrong safety culture
and ensure all workers uphold safe work practices. Perform any other safety-related tasks assigned by theProject Manager or Project Director
.Requirements:
Mandatory:
Must possess a validSite Safety Supervisor (SSS) Yellow Book
registered withDOSH/JKKP
. Minimum 1years of relevant working experience
in construction or related industries. Strong knowledge ofOSHA, FMA, and other applicable safety regulations
. Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills. Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting workplace safety.Full-time position available.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
