Job Description

Site Safety Supervisor position is responsible to assist the Safety and Health Officer/ EHS Manager & Construction / Project Manager in creating, developing, maintaining and communicating safety-related policies, practices and procedures, as well as ensuring that they are followed.

Provide safety supervision to field employees

Ensure site safety compliance among all level of employees

Review site condition prior to initiating Job hazard analysis

Liaise with project personnel to request for task information

Establish & sustain good working rapport with client personnel especially Project and EHS staffs

Assist site supervisor to raise Work Permits and other associate and seek for approval from relevant client personnel prior to commencement of a task

Lead and Manage sub-contractor's EHS personnels

Initiate and conduct toolbox meeting for site employees prior to task commencement

Conduct Safe Behaviour Observation, audits, inspections and assist in executing safety programs throughout the course for site activities and factory operations.

Identify the hazards in the workplaces under their control and assess the risks to safety, health and potentially dangerous areas or with dangerous operations

Collect, compile and submit safety statistics data as required by top management Facilitate mobilization of materials in and out of client premises by liaising with client security personnel

Heed to the instructions of SHO & Lead Site Safety Supervisor.

Discharge duties in the best interest of the company

Utilize and ensure adequacy of applicable safety checklist during execution of a task Perform duties with due diligence

Assist in non-compliance inquiry, violation probe and accident investigations.

Initiate and obtain approval from client representative for daily activities if required.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
