Job Function:
To ensure effective implementation of safety, health, and environmental practices at project sites in compliance with OSHA and company policies. Responsible for promoting a strong safety culture and preventing workplace incidents. Must be a
registered SHO or SSS
.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the overall safety, health and environmental issues on site.
Prepare and present site inductions, safety briefing and toolbox talks.
Enforce supervision, discipline and work ethics for site personnel in safety, health and environmental matters.
Assist to identify unsafe act and condition, and ensure appropriate site rules and welfare activities are in place.
Inspect site to ensure safe work practices are followed.
Review, update and feedback periodically on safety reports and records of individual sites.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other relevant regulations.
Perform any other safety & health duties assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements:
Candidate should possess Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or any equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of working experience in the Construction, Site, Interior Fit Out/ renovation industry or related field.
Registered Health & Safety Officer (HSO) / Yellow Book Holder.
Pleasant attitude and behavior and able to work with minimum supervision.
