Alam Kotamas Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company in the Papar District of Sabah, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects. Your strategic oversight and hands-on approach will be crucial in delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
Monitor and evaluate the progress of construction work, addressing any issues or challenges that arise
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including materials, equipment and personnel
Provide regular progress reports to the project management team
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar site supervisor or construction foreman role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
Familiarity with construction project management software and tools
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality work
