Position Overview

The Site General Worker (Technical Assistant) is responsible for providing support to site operations, assisting skilled workers, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily construction activities. The role involves manual labour, basic installation tasks, housekeeping, and handling materials at the site.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Support

Assist site supervisors and technicians in day-to-day construction activities. Carry out basic tasks such as drilling, cutting, fixing, and simple installation work (under supervision). Help in preparing and setting up work areas, equipment, and materials.

2. Material Handling

Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely. Organize and store materials properly at designated areas. Assist in receiving materials and checking quantity/condition (if required).

3. General Labour Work

Perform manual labour including digging, lifting, and carrying materials. Operate basic hand tools and site equipment safely.

4. Site Cleanliness & Safety

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the construction site. Dispose of debris and waste materials according to site procedures. Follow safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

5. Support to Skilled Workers

Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or technicians as instructed. Provide basic support during installation, measurement, and assembly work.

6. Other Duties

Perform any other tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor, Foreman, or Project Lead. Ensure good teamwork and cooperation with all site personnel.

Requirements

SPM leaver or equivalent. Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks. Willing to work in a construction/renovation environment. Able to follow instructions and work under supervision. Responsible, punctual, and hardworking. Basic knowledge of hand tools will be an advantage.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
