Assist patients in booking medical appointments with doctors, specialists, or clinics.
Ensure appointments are scheduled according to patient preferences, urgency, and doctor availability.
2. Patient Information & Support
Provide general information on medical services, procedures, hospital policies, and insurance coverage.
Explain available services, including lab tests, check-ups, and treatments.
3. Patient Assistance & Advocacy
Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries or concerns.
Guide patients during emergencies and ensure they reach the appropriate departments or specialists.
Coordinate medical referrals and support insurance authorization as needed.
Assist with billing queries, payment processing, and insurance verification.
If needed, help patients arrange travel, accommodation, and transportation for treatment.
4. Customer Support & Follow-Up
Handle patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Address complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
Conduct follow-up calls to ensure service satisfaction.
Remind patients about appointments, medications, or treatments.
5. Emergency Handling
Act promptly during medical emergencies by guiding patients to the right facility or personnel.
Be familiar with emergency protocols and procedures.
6. Data Management & Coordination
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Update internal systems with appointment, treatment, and insurance information.
Facilitate smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers, advocating for patient needs and concerns.
Requirements
Minimum
Diploma
in any field.
Fresh graduates
are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in
English
; knowledge of
Chinese
or
Malay
is a plus.
Willing to work
overtime at night
occasionally (on-call phone support when needed).
Excellent customer service mindset and ability to work independently.
Organized, empathetic, and solution-oriented.
