Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Operate SMT production equipment (e.g., screen printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens) according to production schedules.
Perform machine setup and changeovers based on production requirements.
Load components onto feeders and verify correct part numbers per the bill of materials (BOM).
Monitor line performance, adjust settings, and ensure smooth, continuous operation.
Handle and store components following ESD safety protocols.
Identify and report defects, material shortages, or equipment malfunctions to the SMT Engineer or Supervisor.
Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning on SMT equipment.
Maintain accurate production records and line documentation.
Follow 6S workplace organization and safety requirements.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience operating SMT equipment in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with SMT machines such as Yamaha, Juki, Fuji, Panasonic, or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret BOMs, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small components.
Basic troubleshooting skills for SMT equipment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Physically able to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks.
