About the Client

Our client is a

rapidly growing electronics manufacturing company based in Perak, Malaysia

, operating as a key regional hub for a well-established international group headquartered in Asia. Since its incorporation in 2018, the company has specialized in

PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly)

and a wide range of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, coils, and transformers.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee daily SMT production operations to ensure on-time delivery and quality output. Manage SMT staff scheduling, training, and performance. Ensure all machines are properly maintained, calibrated, and utilized efficiently. Coordinate with planning, engineering, and QA departments for smooth workflow. Review production reports, yield, and downtime, and implement improvements. Ensure compliance with IPC standards and company quality systems. Lead troubleshooting for machine, process, or quality issues. Manage inventory and material control for SMT components. Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Prepare reports and updates to senior management.

Job Requirements

At least a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of working experience in related industry. Strong understanding of SMT machines Knowledge of PCB design and assembly processes Experience with reflow soldering, AOI, SPI, and X-ray inspection Ability to lead and manage SMT team members Plan production schedules and ensure targets are met Train operators and enforce quality control standards Troubleshoot machine or process issues quickly Analyse production data to improve efficiency Coordinate with planning, engineering, and quality departments Good reporting and documentation skills Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, any other language will be an added advantage
