Job Description

: 1. The section head is responsible for the management and development of the SMT production team.
2. Report to the Production Manager.
3. Ensures proper development of the requirements plan and the execution of the plan throughout the operation.
4. Assist supply chain department in developing manufacturing programs to improve lead time, responsiveness and reliability of operation information.
5. Assist in management of business development to ensure the coordinated development, implementation and measurement of programs to support company strategies.
6. Develop strategy programs to upgrade the section performance.
7. Coordinate and ensure the quality of development, training, implementation and modification of systems and processes to support business objectives.
8. Develop and monitor process edit reports to ensure that system settings and controls are properly aligned with business objectives and system requirements.
9. Provide guidance to operations team in the process of developing and monitoring project timelines for new product launches.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest and implement improvements as necessary.
11. Build relationships and interact with other departments to improve communication, process, and total business execution.
12. Recruit, retain and develop team members.
13. Demonstrate abilities and knowledge in the operation of a production facility, including machine scheduling, trouble-shooting and general maintenance.
14. Work with the rest of the plant management team to implement strategic improvement initiatives in the production area, to include quality, efficiency and employee satisfaction. Essential Functions:

• Thorough knowledge of SMT processes and equipment.
• Schedule all machines, including preventative maintenance, and work with commercial department to accommodate customer demands.
• Achieve efficiency, uptime and optimization for SMT machines and downstream equipment
• Work jointly with quality staff to determine root cause and corrective action for non-conformances
• Lead and facilitate a positive and productive team-oriented work environment.
• Provide leadership and support in problem-solving activities in production area.
• Recommend innovative solutions to manufacturing and or maintenance problems.
• Develop and maintains ongoing quality and production efforts.
• Responsible for all job functions in the production department, tooling and process engineering.
• Develop group leaders\xe2\x80\x99 abilities to build and supervise effective teams.
• Take appropriate action when machine or safety problems develop, or notify management if necessary.
• Resolve employee relation issues; coach and counsel employees as needed.
• Investigate new ways to improve the operation of the production department.
• Occasional traveling to other facilities as needed.

Job Requirement : 1) Degree in Manufacturing with 5 year working experience in similar environment.
2) Diploma in Manufacturing with 7 years working experience in similar environment.
