Description

Primary Objective:

To perform credit evaluation and efficient credit decision prudently within Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) matrix and TAT/SLA given by management for loan/financing application of retail products and compliance to Group Policy and Guidelines, Statutory Guidelines and bank\xe2\x80\x99s standard procedure and practices.
Key Responsibilities:

• To perform in depth credit evaluation using common framework of 5C\xe2\x80\x99s (capacity, capital, collateral, conditions and character) in assessing credit risk, customer creditworthiness for prudent credit decision.
• To perform credit verification on the accuracy of data entry and income/supporting documents submitted comply with requirement
• To execute credit decision for loan/financing application of retail secured product as per assigned DLA matrix within stipulated TAT/SLA.
• To comply with Group Policy and Guidelines, Statutory Guidelines and Bank\xe2\x80\x99s standard procedure and practices
• To guide and assist the branches/sales on their loan application and reference of guidelines
• Fraud detection and awareness
• Contribute feedback on process improvement to improve credit quality , efficiency and service standards
• Perform other duties and assignments as and when required by SH, Global Evaluation, Head, Credit Evaluation and Head, Group Retail Credit

Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree - Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business..

• \xe2\x80\xa2 Certified Credit Professional (CCP) OR\xe2\x80\xa2 Professional Credit Certification (PCC) OR\xe2\x80\xa2 Credit Skills Assessment (CSA) OR\xe2\x80\xa2 Any equivalent certification.

• Credit related experience - Minimum 4 years or more functional credit experience either in credit processing / analysis or credit evaluation
• Core credit experience \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 2 years or more managing the retail banking portfolio either in consumer or HP / PLM portfolio or other relevant business units\xe2\x80\x99 credit portfolio

• Strong analytical & credit decision skills
• Well versed with the product market trends & industry
• Self-motivated & ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Teamwork spirit
