Primary Objective:

Manage the day to day operations of the Mainframe based hardware and Operating System and Software tools in the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Data Centre to ensure all development, UAT & Production systems are available and online uptime within agreed SLA/OLA.
Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the other technical support team to maintain all the Software and Hardware which falls under Core Banking Services Administration (Mainframe) to attain 24 x 7 x 365 availability.
• Work with the technical team to cover scope of Core Banking Services overall activities such as installation, monitor, customize, tuning, configure, support and maintain Mainframe and all 3rd party product such as ZEKE, ZARA, tape libraries, backup appliances, backup software and new initiatives.
• Schedule and manage the 24x7 on-call support team as part of rotating team coverage to address system anomalies escalated by operations and users.
• Ensure all activities have the established checklists, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and complies with bank\xe2\x80\x99s related policies and procedures to perform day-to-day operation and support tasks.
• Manage the disaster recovery planning and testing as required to comply regulatory requirements and to meet defined RTO and RPO.
• Manage all Mainframe projects or initiatives and have ability to run small to medium scale projects.
• Responsible to address Core Banking System related incidents, outages, reviewing impact of supported systems, and troubleshooting incident resolution. Adopt IT Service Management framework to respond to customer requested changes, issues, and enhancement requests in accordance to ISO/IEC 20000.
• Ensure the audit compliance are meet.
• Ensure documents for Core Banking System team meet the quality and precise documentation relating to Mainframe architecture and inventory.
• Build, install, customize, monitor, maintain and support engineered system hardware and software in accordance to Group IT transformation and initiatives.
• Manage and to ensure Trouble Shooting Guide are updated based on incident for fast recovery and to use as guide for other supporting staffs.
• Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
• Manage the monthly management reporting to be delivered on schedule.

Requirements

Requirements:
Diploma - Information Technology field or equivalent..

- ITIL Certified preferred

• Minimum 5 - 7 years experience in supporting and operating Mainframe.
• Advance knowledge in IBM system z Operating system and design architecture.
• Advance knowledge in Host LPAR design
• Advance knowledge in Host High Availability

• Knowledge of Mainframe \xe2\x80\x93 CICS, NETWORK, VTAM, STORAGE, Product Installation, z/OS, Mainframe Product (ZEKE. MOBIUS,CCLCM,CODEC,MFE,ZARA, MF Tape Backup System \xe2\x80\x93DLM), IPL Mainframe System and Mainframe Data replication & Monitoring tools
• Good people skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
