Provides Compliance advisory to IT Project PSC across the Group
Product & Services proposal review for business units
Conduct technology/IT compliance thematic Review
Ensure that Group\xe2\x80\x99s Information Technology assets and processes are monitored, and in compliance to the regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Participate as independent party in IT Project committees where compliance considerations and inputs are required to identify potential risks to the Group\xe2\x80\x99s information and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Review IT projects (inclusive of vendor risk assessment in relation to compliance with Group policies and all appropriate regulations), in conjunction with Group IT Governance/Group Technology Risk team, prior to implementation and provide feedback on any potential compliance/risk impact.
Liaise with local and regional Compliance/IT staff to identify and report on information risk, cross-border information sharing and offer remediation as appropriate and to build awareness of risks and controls among local and regional IT personnel to adhere to Group governance and local regulatory requirements
Develop, plan and perform periodic technology compliance thematic reviews across the Group
Independent technology review as control function when required by regulators
Develop and maintain comprehensive list of related laws, statutes and guidelines and determine their applicability to IT aspect of business;
Monitor levels of compliance to controls per regulatory requirements
Continuous improvement of performance
Report the progress of Team to Circle Lead on a frequent basis
Actively explore and assess opportunities for improvement of results and define (in alignment with Circle Lead) feasible steps for Team Members within the Circle to achieve improvements
Coordination & prioritization
Together with relative Circle Lead, hold responsibility for success of the team in achieving target performance.
Align with Circle Lead on the objectives of the teams in Circle and remove any misalignment
Play harmonizing role in alignment of team\'s objective
Support and team mgmt.
Understand and communicate performance target and initiatives to team leads/members
Refine and clarify key issues faced by teams and customers (internal & external) from team leads/members
Ensure continuous improvement, coordinating with other parties within the Circle if necessary
Clearly communicate objectives to leads/members to motivate, inspire and foster delivery
Evaluate and monitor performance of team within the Circle
Closely work with team leads (if any) to ensure team members are evaluated fairly and can improve performance
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - Any related field(s).
- Adequate experience in IT Compliance and AML/CFT risk management with wide exposure in local and global regulatory and sanctions requirements.
At least 2-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in banking operations and IT
Able to work independently and posses good project management and communication skills.
