Our Social Media Moderators protect our clients\xe2\x80\x99 brands and make sure their reputation is kept safe at all times; they are key in providing a positive social experience for all users, while being aware of any potential issues on the social media platforms.

As a Social Media Moderator, you will provide online moderation services to our clients. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll moderate user-generated content on allocated client sites, and post client-created Standard Response Templates where required. You\'ll be reviewing strong graphic images, and written content that violates the guidelines of the community.

What You\'ll Do \xf0\x9f\x93\x85

• Moderating in accordance with The Social Element guidelines and client-specific guidelines.
• Carrying out moderation and training accordingly to the times scheduled in the project schedule
• Escalating user-generated content that falls within the official escalation processes (eg child safety, bomb threats)
• Offering support to other moderators who need assistance as well as mentoring new moderators and supporting them
• Complete shift reports using templates provided according to individual project requirements
• Informing Social Producers of any technical or other issues with sites or content and providing feedback on any client issues

Working Hours \xf0\x9f\x95\x91

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have flexibility and availability to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends to cover all project hours.

With this particular work, we are looking for someone to work one hour per day for approx 4 days per week. Tuesday and Thursday are essential days. To add, you would be working with one other team member which means that together you will cover all project hours covering each other on days off; holiday and sickness so flexibility is essential.

Requirements

\xf0\x9f\x92\xac Excellent Indonesian level: As you\xe2\x80\x99ll be posting messages in social media, it\xe2\x80\x99s a must to have superb writing skills.
\xf0\x9f\xa7\x91\xe2\x80\x8d\xf0\x9f\xa4\x9d\xe2\x80\x8d\xf0\x9f\xa7\x91 Background experience: either engagement, social customer care, localisation, translation, copywriting, moderation, and/or community management, either with a brand or digital agency.
\xf0\x9f\x93\xb1Social Media knowledge: Experience in using either Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn and/or YouTube.
\xf0\x9f\x93\x88 A confidence with digital technology: you know the latest trends in social media like the back of your hand.
\xe2\x9c\xa8 A self-motivated social media expert who is comfortable working remotely.

We operate a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Policy which means to carry out this work, your PC will need to meet the following requirements:

• Operating system Windows 10 64bits or higher / MAC OS X version 10.15 (Catalina) or higher. We do not support Windows 8 or older / MacOS Mojave or older.
• i5 7th generation or faster 64-bit (x64) processor
• At least 8GB RAM Internet speed is 10Mbps download / 1Mbps upload (40Mbps download / 2Mbps upload is recommended)
• 40 GB available HDD (SSD is recommended)
• A Webcam and headset (used for internal purposes)
• Android or iOS device for 2FA
• Chromebook & Linux not compatible
