Role Overview

We are looking for a

skilled Mainframe Developer

with strong experience in

COBOL-based systems

and exposure to

Cards & Payments platforms

such as

CardLink or VisionPLUS

. The role involves end-to-end development and support of Mainframe applications within the

Banking and Payments domain

, following SDLC and change management processes.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Support

Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the

Mainframe platform

. Perform development using

COBOL

,

CICS

,

JCL

, and

VSAM

. Participate in all phases of the

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mainframe applications. Ensure high-quality deliverables through collaboration with team members.

Cards & Payments Domain

Work on

CardLink / Payments Card systems

. Apply strong knowledge of

Cards and Payments processing

. Support card-related transactions, integrations, and enhancements. Ensure compliance with banking standards and change management processes.

Collaboration & Quality

Collaborate closely with development, testing, and support teams. Follow banking SDLC processes and documentation standards. Support change management and release activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

7+ years

of hands-on Mainframe development experience. Strong proficiency in: COBOL CICS JCL VSAM Experience with

CardLink development

(mandatory/preferred). Exposure to

VisionPLUS

or other Cards platforms is a plus. Familiarity with Mainframe batch and online processing.

Domain Knowledge

Strong understanding of

Banking concepts

. Knowledge of

Credit Cards / Cards & Payments domain

. Experience working in the

Banking sector

with SDLC and change management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in

CardLink

or

VisionPLUS

projects. Experience supporting production systems in banking environments.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

Experience:

Mainframe: 2 years (Required) Cards & Payments platforms: 2 years (Preferred) COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM: 2 years (Preferred)
