This role involves designing and developing C++ software in a Linux environment for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) instruments. It requires collaboration with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. The position focuses on creating efficient software, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the production release of innovative testing products.

• Design and develop object-oriented software in C++ within a Linux environment for Automated Test Equipment instruments.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineers to define requirements, plan and execute project plans, conduct design reviews, and support the production release of modified or new products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in instrumentation software to ensure optimal functionality.

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (EE).
• Knowledge of all aspects of software development, including complex software architecture, version control, builds, and unit testing.
• Experience working on large and complex C++ projects, particularly with legacy code.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, hardware control, or instrument drivers.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Comfortable working in a Linux user-space development environment.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
