Job Description

• You have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering with CGPA of 3.0 and above
• You will be considered if you possess a Diploma in IT, Engineering or Computer Science and have relevant work experience as a software engineer
• You have worked in a software engineering or application development role for 2 to 5 years. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are able to program at an expert level using Java or Typescript, on object orientated and J2EE principles
• You should have experience using two or more of the following technologies or frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Angular, ZK, Struts, Oracle, MS SQL or MariaDB
• You have experience using IT/GitLab

Responsibilities

• You will be analysing functional specifications to address our clients\' challenges and business needs and designing creative customised solutions using our software to meet those needs
• You will be perform a variety of programming tasks, such as designing, documenting, coding program logic and code review
• You will be troubleshooting and fixing bugs
• You will be preparing technical documentation for customisation and interface development, deployment and support handover
• You will be coaching one or two juniors to build their programming and debugging skill sets
• You will review programs prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance with established departmental guidelines, policies and practices as well as industry standard guidelines.
• You will work in a team to implement, deploy and support the software for clients to achieve a successful and on-time roll-out
