The Role

Our team develops the

Virtuozzo

Hybrid Infrastructure (VHI)

product -- a robust software solution that enables service providers to operate software-defined infrastructure based on distributed storage and virtualization layers and we are looking for Engineers to join our team. As a

Software Engineer

, you will play a key role in building new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliability in production environments. You will collaborate across the full stack of the product, from UI and REST APIs to cluster lifecycle management, virtualization, monitoring, and seamless product updates.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop new features for Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure high code quality. Improve and optimize existing functionality for performance and scalability. Provide support and maintenance for real customer environments.

Skills & Abilities

Strong proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Golang, C/C++, or Rust. Deep understanding of Linux operating system architecture. Solid knowledge of networking concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex challenges.

Preferred Knowledge

Experience with hypervisors and container technologies. Familiarity with distributed systems design and implementation. Background in system programming. Understanding of Windows, Linux, or FreeBSD kernel internals. Proficiency with automation and infrastructure tools such as Ansible, Bash scripting, and Terraform. Knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Web development skills (JavaScript, HTML).
