Kodewave is seeking a

Software Programmer (PHP / Laravel)

to develop and maintain web-based systems used by government agencies and enterprise clients.

The role focuses primarily on

PHP (Laravel)

development. Experience in

Python and/or Go

is considered a strong value-add, especially for backend services, automation, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain

PHP (Laravel)

web applications Design and implement backend logic, APIs, and database structures Integrate systems with third-party services and internal platforms Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding best practices Support deployment, maintenance, and system enhancements

Technical Requirements (Core)

Strong foundation in

PHP

with hands-on experience in

Laravel

Good understanding of: MVC architecture RESTful API development MySQL or other relational databases Familiar with: HTML, CSS, JavaScript Git or other version control systems Basic knowledge of server environments (Linux, Apache/Nginx) is an advantage

Value-Added Skills (Advantage)

Experience with

Python

(automation, data processing, APIs, AI integration) Experience with

Go (Golang)

for high-performance services or microservices Exposure to: Message queues, background jobs, or schedulers System integration or data pipelines Containerization (Docker) or CI/CD workflows Familiarity with security best practices and scalable system design

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in

Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering

, or related field

Fresh graduates with Laravel project experience are welcome to apply

Candidates with real-world project, internship, or freelance experience will have an advantage
