Job Description

Responsibilities:

Understand project requirements, define testing scope, and lead planning activities across SIT to Production. Collaborate with the QA team to create, segregate, and review functional, API, and Database test cases. Initiate and approve test case reviews before and after execution. Execute and oversee test cases across SIT, UAT, Staging, CT, and Production. Raise and follow up on defects using Jira; tag accurately to releases and ensure proper closure. Document test closure reports, signoffs, and productivity summaries in Confluence. Own the complete API testing lifecycle - from requirement analysis, scripting, execution, to sign-off. Design, develop, and maintain reusable API frameworks using Postman Review and approve API test plans, automation coverage, and test results.

Requirement:

3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing (functional), API testing using Postman, and Database Testing using SQL within large-scale enterprise applications. Proven experience in SIT, UAT, and Production-level testing across mobile, web, and API platforms. Strong knowledge of testing techniques (Black Box, White Box), STLC, and defect lifecycle. Expertise in API testing using Postman & Newman; able to do Postman automation and design and maintain test scripts. Skilled in documenting and reviewing test artifacts (Test Plans, Test Cases, RTM, Closure Reports). Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, and CI/CD integration. Ability to lead test reviews, conduct knowledge-sharing, and mentor team members. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Past experience with the Insurance industry is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
