Job Description

Job Title:

SIT & Regression Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with

product owners, developers, and business analysts

to understand user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

Plan, design, and execute SIT

within the sprint to validate seamless interactions across application modules.

Develop and manage regression testing

cycles prior to release to ensure no impact on existing functionality. Identify, document, and track

defects

accurately using test management tools. Ensure all testing activities align with

Agile sprint timelines

and actively contribute to sprint reviews. Work with

automation engineers

to identify and support areas suitable for automation within SIT and regression processes. Continuously

improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies

in alignment with industry best practices.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in

MySQL

, including the ability to write basic queries for

data validation

and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with

Postman

for

API testing

, including understanding of

RESTful services

and

JSON

structures. Strong knowledge of

test management tools

such as

JIRA

,

Zephyr Squad

, or equivalent platforms. Ability to design

detailed test plans, cases, and scripts

for SIT and regression testing. Sound understanding of

Agile/Scrum methodologies

with active sprint participation. Strong

troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

to identify integration issues quickly. Ability to work effectively in

fast-paced environments

and deliver under tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

,

Information Technology

, or a related discipline. Minimum

5 years of experience

in

software testing

, with a strong focus on

SIT

and

regression testing

. Experience in

Agile software development environments

.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Exposure to

test automation frameworks

and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in

banking, fintech, or enterprise application testing

. Understanding of

API performance testing

and environment configuration.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Experience:
