Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrates effective communications (teleconference, email, and in-person) through interaction with customers (internal and external) regarding project technical subject matter.
• Demonstrates skill to lead small test teams in software verification across multiple phases.
• Demonstrates skill in the full product realization process, as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently in multiple phases for the Product Realization Process, without direction from mentors or functional management.
• Assists project management in the development of proposals to ensure accurate technical, staffing, budgetary, and schedule content
• Develops software testing strategies and protocols that are innovative, high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy all stakeholder's (customer, development team, etc.) needs and requirements through an established area of technical specialty and mentorship of others on the global discipline team.
• Demonstrates skills and ability to perform, review and verify the following works:

• Develop test plan, and test strategy, and reports verification results.
• Design and develop hardware/software tools or scripts required for test methods.
• Develop test objectives and design test procedures to evaluate software based on available requirement specifications.
• Develop test cases covering requirements traceability for coverage and basic function test.
• Analyze software requirements to determine testability, completeness and consistency
• Work closely with development & system engineering team to better understand requirements for effective testing
• Works with product development teams to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements, and testability software
• Perform manual and automated testing of medical devices with embedded software.
• Understands defect management and works closely with developer on defect resolution
• Validating test methods and non-product software.

• Supports the Lean culture and effectively utilizes Lean Sigma concepts and tools to identify and eliminate waste while improving processes.

• Five (5) years of related experience is required; Five (5) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• One (1) year verification experience in highly regulated Industry (Medical/Aerospace/Safety Critical), One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
• Experience with Installation packaging on Windows Operating systems
• Learn from and adhere to internal quality manual (Quality System Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms)
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent unless otherwise specified
• Experience with Software Verification & Validation of embedded devices preferred
• Experience with programming languages such as C or C++
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash Scripts.

• Lab test/measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.)
• Experience with automated requirements and test tracking software (such as Jama, or Doors)
• Experience with Agile Scrum and related tools (such as JIRA)
• Lab tools
• Basic Familiarity Programming/Automation
• Intermediate Cross-Discipline Development Knowledge

• Programming C#, C++, Labview and or Python
• GUI Testing Frameworks
