Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Solution Analyst to join our dynamic IT team in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing infrastructure requirements, designing scalable IT infrastructure solutions, and ensuring optimal system performance, availability, and security. This role requires strong technical expertise in infrastructure architecture, networking, servers, cloud, and security, combined with business acumen to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and analyze infrastructure requirements. Design and propose scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure solutions (on-premise, hybrid, or cloud). Conduct feasibility studies, capacity planning, and cost-benefit analysis for infrastructure initiatives. Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and configuration standards. Oversee implementation of infrastructure projects including servers, storage, network, virtualization, and cloud platforms. Ensure system performance, uptime, and disaster recovery readiness. Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements, upgrades, or optimization strategies. Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Provide technical guidance and support during deployment and post-implementation phases. Support vendor management and coordinate with external service providers where necessary. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 3-7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Infrastructure Solution Design, or System Engineering. Strong understanding of: Server technologies (Windows/Linux) Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) Networking (LAN/WAN, Firewall, VPN, Routing, Switching) Storage solutions and backup systems Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP - added advantage) Experience with infrastructure architecture design and capacity planning. Knowledge of IT service management (ITIL) and project methodologies (Agile / Waterfall). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Preferred Certifications (Advantage) Microsoft Certified (Azure / Windows Server) VMware Certification (VCP) AWS Solutions Architect CCNA / CCNP ITIL Foundation
