The position

We are looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Solution Architect to join the External Web Platform product line team. Someone who influences their own development pursues interests across functions and geographies and understands that a job title is not the final definition of who you are, but a starting point. You are a highly motivated self-starter and curiosity is what drives you. You are a team player with critical thinking and a good communicator to various stakeholders that gets to the point quickly. You have a passion for quality, innovation and world-class software products.

The External Web Platform product line provides a backbone for building Roche's presence in the internet, by delivering platform capabilities required for the external publication of web content. It bundles a complementary set of products that can be leveraged in combination with each other as a foundation for robust, modern, and secure internet-facing portals and applications, which can be easily implemented and maintained. Our platforms are used to host various types of portals and sites including portals for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Patients, affiliates, promotional and event websites.

We rely on leading market solutions like Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress,

Storyblok and we complement them with a state-of-the-art toolchain to ensure the best Developer Experience.

Your responsibilities include:

Designing global platforms according to enterprise standards and providing the best developer experience

Architecture review of existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement

Research, evaluation, proof of concepts, and adoption of new technologies

We need a passionate person who has:

3+ years of hands-on experience in the following areas/technologies:

traditional and headless Content Management Systems (preferred Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Storyblok)

architecting / designing / developing external facing portals using both traditional and headless approaches

Strong collaboration and influencing skills with a proven ability to lead and inspire

Analytical, logical problem-resolution skills
