We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to lead a team of cloud engineers in both presales and post-sales activities. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership, customer engagement, and solution design capabilities. This role requires working closely with sales teams, clients, and delivery teams to design, propose, and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions. This role is a key role in the organization that will enable and support our growth expansion and demand in the Cloud business.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, fostering technical excellence
and professional development.

Assign, review, and oversee engineering tasks across presales, support and
delivery projects

Act as the escalation point for complex technical challenges.
Define and maintain cloud reference architectures, patterns, and frameworks.
Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, security compliance, and
organizational policies.

Evaluate new cloud services, tools, and platforms for potential adoption.
Drive innovation by aligning emerging cloud technologies with business
strategies.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cloud adoption, transformation, and
modernization.

Presales & Solution Design

Collaborate with sales teams, business partners and regional resources to
understand customer needs and develop tailored cloud solutions.

Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and technical presentations.
Translate business requirements into cloud architecture designs that align
with cost, performance, and compliance needs.

Lead a team to prepare solution proposals, diagrams, and technical
documentation for RFPs and customer evaluations.

Lead a team to demonstrate proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes to
validate designs.

Requirements

Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or Information
Systems or its equivalent

8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4+ years in cloud architecture roles
Proven experience leading technical teams in presales and delivery
engagements

Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms and Hyper-scalers such as
AWS, Azure, GCP

Strong knowledge of cloud-native services, networking, security, identity
management, and DevOps practices

Knowledge on Data and Artificial Intelligence will be an advantage
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A minimum requirement of recognized Cloud Certification on Solutions
Architect. An AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Associate certification

will be an advantage

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM6,918.86 - RM14,022.90 per month
