JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title: RPA Solution Architect Job Purpose: This role is responsible for the overall end-to-end design, architecture, development and implementation of solution of Robotic Process Automation systems (RPA) which inclusive setting up RPA framework and COE. This role is also responsible to ensure various stages of each RPA projects being undertaken from infrastructure setup, project governance, workflow design, workflow development, quality assurance and hyper care (by managing changes and improvements), and optimization are being managed through. Part of the Service Delivery team, the candidate is responsible to translate functional requirements into the technical documents and required architecture as part of solutioning activity. Other RPA tasks inclusive selection of the most appropriate technologies and options based on the requirements. This role will ensure that the solution architecture proposed for RPA is align with enterprise architecture roadmaps and adheres to enterprise architecture principles. Key Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities: Design and architecting the product/ solution. Ensure Business Process Owner requirements are being translated into required functional and technical specifications (detailed level designs). Ensure the product/ solution architecture is scalable and extensible. Drive the adoption of best practices around coding, design, quality and RPA performance. Constantly upgrade product with suitable evolving technology and met Business Process Owner requirements. Lead in design, providing specification and give input towards selection of IT solutions based on functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance. Lead the organization in exploiting technology and using knowledge of IT solutions to drive organization change and to support business process design. Provide estimation/ costs and prepare business cases for IT solutions, giving due consideration to infrastructure, licensing, development and support. Work with Business Process Owner and other developers to execute RPA initiatives by analyzing and designing process workflows; building, testing, and implementing RPA solutions; and ensuring quality of the system. Share experience and knowledge to assist in the development of recommendations and solutions that are in-line with industry best practices. Assist Business Process Owner and Project Manager in the construction of Business Cases and opportunity identification efforts to support the further adoption of RPA solutions throughout the organization. Work with Business Process Owner and Project Manager to ensure that all project documents are maintained and knowledge is transferred to business units throughout the engagement. Support Project Manager in managing project timelines, quality, budgets as well as business unit relationships. Ensure the optimal scheduling of robots to best utilize capacity while meeting business SLAs. Ability to create technical documentation. Perform unit and integration testing of robots. Assist in user testing of robots. Participate in trainings to enhance skills and abilities in RPA, including tools and best practices The ideal candidate should have: Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science and/ or relevant professional certificate(s). At least 5-8 years' professional experience in Robotic Automation configuration, programming (including scripting/ coding), SQL and relational databases, and application development. Minimum 3 years' experience in a professional senior technical role (e.g. technical lead, team lead or architect), ideally for a system integrator. Automation Anywhere experience is mandatory. Knowledge of Blue Prism, UiPath or another RPA tools is an advantage. Knowledge of MS SharePoint (on premise and cloud) is an added advantage. Experience with process analysis, design, and implementation; business and technical requirements; problem-solving; and system(s) testing, including UAT and bug fixes. Experience in assessing a broad range of IT solutions particularly in infrastructure design. Basic understanding of Lean and Six Sigma process methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people.
