The Position The Solution Architect role can be based in Warsaw or Poznan (Poland) ( preferred location) or within Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Madrid or San Cugat (Spain), or Mississauga (Canada). As a Solution Architect, you will be part of an amazing team tasked with architecting innovative IT solutions to support the Product Development, Approval and License Management domain. You will be working in the Medical Affairs product line specific to External Stakeholder Management & Medical Affairs Compliance, Medical Information Management, Investigator Initiated Studies & Drug Supply for Pre-approval Access, Medical Content Creation and Sharing, and Scientific Communication. The Evidence Generation product supports Medical Affairs to generate evidence and new insights on the disease as well as efficacy and safety of our launched products. The Scientific Communication product enables Global Medical Affairs as well as DIA Medical Affairs to manage all kinds of scientific content enabling collaborative authoring, simplified workflows and content review processes including dissemination to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Design end-to-end solutions according to enterprise standards for 3-4 products within the product line in a specific domain. Conduct architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement Research, evaluate, and create proof of concepts to adopt new technologies Design non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code Keep up to date on new industry and emerging technologies which can provide advantages and groundbreaking innovations & benefit the business Drive the identification of the most appropriate solution for Roche through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes. Evaluate feasibility of potential solutions in collaboration with business users and Subject Matter Experts Seek opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes Architect, build, maintain, and operate enterprise-gradesystems/applications Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to define the product strategy, roadmap, and vision Who You Are: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with 5-7 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization At least 5 years\' experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture Experience in the biotechnology, medical device, or pharmaceutical industryis highly preferred Experience with SAFe or any other lean-agile framework is a plus Strong communication skills Negotiation skills, long term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
