Company background:
German software house with more than 50 years on the market that focuses on developing IT solutions for their clients across different industries globally e.g. Logistic, Supply Chain, Transportation, etc.
What are the responsibilities?
- Responsible in designing, developing, and continuously improving the system / software
- Understand user requirements and drive continuous improvements based on usage and user feedbacks
- Perform PROBE study / data analytics to understand user behaviour and to propose relevant enhancement
- Work closely with other architects to design reusable components
- Select the best algorithms and technologies for the team to work on
- Perform code review regularly for continuous improvement on existing code to make it lean
- Experienced working as Technical Architect and familiar with architecture (Microservices, Software) designing
- Strong knowledge of DevOps technologies / processes related to cloud solutions
- Solid technical knowledge in Java or Python
- Familiar with containerization - Kubernetes / OpenStack / Docker is a plus
- Good understanding of software engineering processes e.g. Jenkins, Git, Maven
- Good communication and stakeholder management
