Your new role

You\'ll be bringing Industry 4.0 to high-tech manufacturing, using our software to control robots, talk to machines and ultimately boost chip production.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for analysing requirements, evaluating customer software integration options and working closely with customers to achieve high levels of automation in their production. As part of an international team, you will also need to work closely with your colleagues in Germany, USA, Singapore and local team members to plan, distribute and manage development tasks. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software delivered to customers.

What you\'ll do

• Requirements analysis and analysis of the integration capabilities of the customer\'s existing or planned systems and facilities
• Align with customers on automation scenarios
• Solution design and planning/distribution of team activities
• Quality assurance and maintenance of the developed software

• Bachelor or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering AND
• At least 6 years working experience including experience as Solution Architect in software & automation field in semiconductor industry
• Object oriented analysis, design and implementation
• Knowledge in Java or other object oriented programming language such as C++
• Structured working style and strong in analysis & conceptional thinking
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
• Good knowledge in automation and software design tool such as Sparx System Enterprise Architecture
• Good knowledge in project management tools such as MS Project
• Willingness to travel
• Interest in technology & automation

• Message-oriented middleware, e.g. Apache ActiveMQ, TIBCO-RV...
• Programming interfaces like REST
• Equipment interfaces such as OPC UA, SECS/GEM
• JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular for GUI development
• SQL and Database design
