Job Purpose
Perform the development of the technology design and architecture and systems integration in accordance with CIMB Group enterprise architecture standards and technology strategy for Consumer Banking (CB) business in Malaysia and regional offices with CB systems hubbed in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities
Develop the technology design and architecture working in tandem with the unit\'s respective Enterprise Application Delivery (EAD) and CIMB Group Enterprise Architecture Services (EAS) teams and within CIMB Group\'s Enterprise Architecture standards, IT governance and policies including Information Security, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning framework, applicable regulatory requirements and auditors. Escalate/Collaborate with other support teams to resolve reported incidents/problems.
Understand business requirements, strategy, challenges and critical customer journeys and collate requirements specification, operational scenarios and concepts.
Conduct technical analysis and design of complex requirements and issues.
Perform high-level design work and high level estimate (HLE) by articulating the business requirements into high level and detailed solutions (HLS) and produce technical solution documentations such as SDD (Solution Design Document) or TSD (Technical Solution Document).
Manage requirement risks and seek approval from the business/ design authority to proceed with identified solution.
Communicate the HLS and HLE to the relevant internal teams and ensure that the designed solution are approved in GSRC (Group Solution Review Council); and are successfully handed over and understood by the technical project team member.
Act as gatekeeper for solution architecture implementation prior to projects kick-off.
Provide the requirements for application components, platforms, interfaces, development tools, security controls and testing approaches to EAD and Testing teams and other related teams.
Communicate and work collaboratively with relevant teams and stakeholders on system architecture concepts, strategies and standards to ensure alignment and consistency of practices.
Provide technical expertise and support in resolving issues related to business and technology solutions, complex and technical design related problems.
Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to facilitate, perform and/or support systems integration and testing according to the integration/ transition project plan that includes IT infrastructure and security, technology and application services.
Work closely with relevant teams to identify, analyse, manage risks/impacts, inter-dependencies of different technology applications and/or projects; and identify and jointly implement sustainable fixes, recovery and solutions as part of risk management plans.
Participate in the development and improvement of architectural policies, standards, principles, guidelines, strategies and best practices.
Review data mapping and propose data-conversion business rules.
Identify, monitor and respond to technical risks including determining the need for vulnerability assessment (VA) as part of the source code process.
Assist in the evaluation of emerging products, technologies and frameworks as part of the solution design process.
Preferably with good working knowledge of SIBS, IBG, IBFT, DuitNow, Rentas & Payment System.
Qualification / Requirement
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
Certification in Solution / Enterprise Architect i.e. TOGAF or Zachman
Minimum 6 - 8 years of IT architecture, solution design and implementation experience with a thorough knowledge of the business and technical disciplines in the banking industry
Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
Understand the architecture techniques including gap analysis and requirement gathering
Experience in producing systems design, including requirements discovery and analysis, formulation of solution context, identification of solution alternatives and assessment, technology selection, and design configuration
Experience in designing and managing application platforms, system integration and development of large scale projects
Working knowledge in system testing, implementation, and production
