• Dip/Degree in Medical Imaging with at least 2 years of experience in Healthcare/ Hospital
• Knowledge of radiology and ultrasonography would be an advantage
• Able to perform breasts, abdomen, pelvic, antenatal growth, and detailed scans
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality of information

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform Ultrasound Examinations: Conduct ultrasound examinations by applying a transducer to the patient\'s body, producing images of the targeted area.
• Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain the ultrasound procedure, and ensure their comfort during the examination. Answer questions and address concerns.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring that IT is in proper working condition. Make necessary adjustments for optimal image quality.
• Image Acquisition: Capture high-quality images that provide detailed information for medical diagnosis. Adjust settings as needed to optimize image clarity.
• Image Review and Analysis: Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to identify abnormalities or medical conditions. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses.
• Patient Records: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including images and examination details. Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Follow safety protocols and quality assurance standards to ensure patient and staff safety during ultrasound procedures.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated on the latest developments in sonography, attend training sessions, and participate in continuing education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Infection Control: Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
