To perform ultrasonography as ordered by the Doctor or Specialist.
To carry duties for all ultrasound investigations and to coordinate on the scheduling and preparation of patients.
To provide accurate information and preparation guidelines to patients before their appointed ultrasound procedure.
To ensure that the Ultrasound procedure rooms are clean and tidy.
To ensure that ultrasound equipment are operated correctly and maintained in good.
To order adequate consumable stocks of all ultrasonography items that required for use by the Department,
To lead departmental quality improvement activities and to collate and analyze related performance indicator data on Radiology services.
To orientate, train and supervise all junior new sonographers.
