About the role

The Services Manager will be part of a focused, high caliber procurement team and will have the responsibility for developing and implementing the procurement strategy for a broad spectrum of Non-Product Related and Equipment & Spare Part commodity (Semiconductor related preferable.) covering the site.

The sourcing manager concerns complex indirect materials strategies and projects, including stakeholder management and negotiations.

Proven experience in a manufacturing environment and indirect material purchasing is required with experience in equipment and spare parts, preferred in Semiconductor or Automotive environment.

What you will do

Commodity Management

• Drive, direct and lead the sourcing and strategy development in order to achieve a competitive cost structure for Nexperia Seremban in Malaysia. Primary focus will be Facilities, Janitorial, IT, HR (Indirect Services) and Equipment and Parts (EPS)
• Provide input into stakeholder scope of requirements while offering commercial suggestions for value creation and maintaining a competitive environment
• Perform market scanning and supplier research to discover, develop and engage with potential new suppliers in the market
• Work with various business stakeholder to identify and qualify new or existing supplier, execute the RFPs/ RFQs, advise requestors with respect on contract terms and conditions.
• Perform market research to obtain market knowledge and experience to develop negotiation strategies
• Analysis of spend categories and market conditions for appropriate application of sourcing strategies
• Perform benchmarking, TCOO analysis and supplier risk assessment prior to supplier awarding of a purchase/project
• Evaluate single sourcing requests and ensure competitiveness.

Cost Management

• Lead commercial negotiations consisting site and cross-functional international team members as needed and multiple service level contracts related to Facilities services
• Establish and negotiation plans for high value international projects by cooperating with other Nexperia BE sites
• Develop and lead site sourcing projects including scope of work creation, negotiation planning, and driving results which meet organizational goals with stakeholders
• Work together with Facility Management to develop and consolidate forecast for future demands and growth and perform negotiations with supplier
• Negotiates with supplier on cost increase demand and uses TCOO to push back and analyze total costs, assist business functions with ROI analysis, price and rate benchmarking and negotiate favorable business terms to leverage company purchasing power.

Supplier and Supply Management

• Manage/Qualify Supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, technology and service, in order to achieve best-in-class supply base
• Maintain close relationship with supplier\xe2\x80\x99s key account manager, to ensure proper deployment of company requirements at supplier and be the focal point for any escalations towards supplier.
• Performs supplier tiering within organization to ensure all strategic, key and commercial suppliers are classified and strategy developed around their importance
• Accountable for regular performance SRS (supplier rating scorecard) & business reviews with suppliers

Process Management

• Drive implementation of program tools in order to achieve Procurement operations excellence
• Find ways to innovate and work efficiently using the P2P process and tools

Contract Management

• Manage and negotiate supplier contracts in order to have the best terms and conditions for Nexperia

Stakeholder Management

• Manage the relationship between key account managers of suppliers and internal stakeholders who are the end users.
• Mediate situations and act as a window of communication between both parties, especially when issues arises

Escalate to senior management on certain situation with suppliers (when required) and manage the relationship upwards

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering/Finance/Business or equivalent is required
• 7 years of Indirect sourcing experience
• Able work in high-pace dynamic environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure tasks completion and deadlines are met as required.
• Demonstrated skills in project management required.
