This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Kuala Lumpur at Coal & Clouds by The Babel Group. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. This includes preparing food, managing kitchen staff, inventory control, and maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards. Qualifications Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent culinary training Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation Ability to manage effectively a team of kitchen staff Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Experience in high volume restaurant or hotel kitchens is desirable
