Job Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the Sous Chef and assume responsibility for the supervision and management of the Kitchen Team in the event of the Head Chef\'s absence.

• Conduct a thorough inspection of all incoming products to ensure that they meet the required quality standards.

• Ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the kitchen.

• Foster and sustain positive working relationships among the team.

• Develop and disseminate duty rosters for the staff, considering planned activities and any staff absences. Manage any necessary modifications and ensure that roster is plainly displayed.

• Supervise and train kitchen staff, serve as a coach to facilitate the growth of all team members.

• Guarantee an efficient stock rotation process, maintain and regulate food expenses.

• Implement measures to reduce food waste at all phases of production by implementing controls, maintaining records, and generating reports as necessary.

• Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers.

• Ensure that all incoming products meet the quality standard by conducting an inspection.

• Guarantee that all orders are recorded in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that the appropriate documentation is received and processed.

• Ensure that all foods are stored in the refrigerator and freezer in accordance with the health department\'s regulations. Aiding in the procurement process.
