Location: Penang

Position: Southeast Asia Sales Manager

Headcount: 1

Tenure: Permanent

Key Respnsibilities:

  • Grow the customer base in Southeast Asia with a focus on Injection Molding take-Out Systems for production of medical plastics or Beverage and Liquid Food Industry
  • Build new business pipelines and manage opportunities of new customers to achieve Southeast Asia strategic initiatives and revenue goals
  • Deliver strong customer value propositions, drive pricing approaches for current and future products and services and manage contract negotiations
  • Map out sales strategies and approaches, collaboratively execute with support from cross functional teams to meet customers' expectations and drive revenue growth
  • Able to define market needs (defining requirements, USP, pricepoint etc) and Sales toolkit as an input to Global Research & Development team
  • Prepare and report projected sales funnel / hot leads etc
  • Accountable for all sales & key accounts strategies across the countries within the Southeast Asia region
  • Optimize sales tools and provide greater visibility and actionable data for targeted sales efforts
  • Understand different market trends for future anticipation and update Global Research & Development team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with minimally 5 years of relevant sales experiences preferably in machine manufacturing space and in a regional capacity
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and closing large and complex deals (i.e. long sales cycle time, multiple decision-makers with large dollar value)
  • Strong Sales record in the sales of Take-out systems or Injection Molding Machines
  • Driven, high level of commitment, resilience and flexible, with the ability to accept changes and adapt to a growing company
  • Great negotiation, presentation and communication skills, able to manage customers relationship and maintain customers satisfaction
  • Good team player and able to manage internal stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel is an advantage. Frequent travelling is needed
