Position: SPA CONCIERGE (Full time #533495)
Property / Office: Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Spa Concierge is responsible for, but not limited to booking all spa treatments, explaining services to guests, any POS sales including retail and checking in and checking out all guests in a professional manner. We are looking for individuals who have a good knowledge of all spa treatments and enjoys to create memorable experiences for our guests with outstanding service and hospitality.
The Role of the Spa Concierge

  • Provide good and efficient service to guest.
  • To ensure that all guests need are met according to the Legendary Quality Experience and MO Pillars.
  • Keep work area clean and neat at all times
  • Must follow all Standards and Procedures as taught by legendary trainers or Head Therapist
  • To ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa
  • Assist in the operations of all spa departments as required:


        • Front Desk
        • Spa Retail Area
        • Relaxation Area
        • Sluice Area
        • Sales and Marketing
        • Spa Suites
  • Report dysfunctional equipment to Director of S&W.
  • To maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the spa reception.
  • Will be expected to assist and perform various demonstrations and events.
  • To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as lay down by the Director of S&W.
  • Must attend all training courses as deemed necessary and must adhere to training.
  • Must have the ability to courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel related questions with guests.
  • Must have good telephone skills and follow MOHG telephone etiquette.
  • To be adaptable and accountable for all actions.
  • Will perform as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position, or assigned by the Director of S&W.
  • To ensure a warm friendly welcome to all guests at all times. Greets all guests upon their arrival, gives new guests tours of property and offers return guests "re-orientations", courtesy to guests and other members of staff at all times.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing packages, i.e., FedEx, UPS, etc.
  • Oversees incoming and outgoing guest and spa colleague business-related faxes.
  • To aim to give the guests the best possible service, and make each guest feel important.
  • Preferred Qualifications And Skills
  • Completes Secondary Education
  • Minimum 2 years relevant job experience in similar capacity and hospitality or related industry
  • Knowledge of current Spa trends in the industry
  • Technical awareness and knowledge of a wide variety of treatments particularly for the body
  • Knowledge of holistic concept and treatments
  • Good in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to communicate in other languages would be an advantage
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Pleasant, friendly and polite
