Position: SPA THERAPIST (Full time #534620)
Property / Office: Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The Spa Therapist will report to the Director of Spa & Therapist and forms part of the Spa and Wellness team who strive to offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a gracious, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and colleagues. We are looking for individuals who have a good knowledge of all spa treatments and enjoys to create memorable experiences for our guests with outstanding service and hospitality.
The Role of the Spa Therapist

• Perform treatments on guests whilst maintaining the guest\xe2\x80\x99s comfort at all times.
• Be on time for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each treatment
• Keep work area clean and neat at all times
• Must follow all Standards and Procedures as taught by legendary trainers or Head Therapist
• To ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa
• To maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the treatment rooms
• Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in treatment room throughout shift
• To attend daily line-ups, weekly and monthly spa meetings
• To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as lay down by the Director of Spa & Wellness
• Must have the ability to courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel related questions with guests
• Will perform as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position, or assigned by the Director of Spa & Wellness
• Maintain current professional licenses

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Graduate from an accredited school with massage, body and face license or certificate. Combination license or certificate of manicure / pedicure would be an advantage
• Minimum 2 years relevant job experience in similar capacity and hospitality or related industry
• Knowledge of current Spa trends in the industry
• Technical awareness and knowledge of a wide variety of treatments particularly for the body
• Knowledge of holistic concept and treatments
• Good in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Ability to communicate in other languages would be an advantage
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Pleasant, friendly and polite
