RESPONSIBILITIES : \xe2\x80\xa2 Interface between Sales Support Representative (SSR) and Operations to ensure material supply on time to meet customer delivery \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for material requirements planning and material availability \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze MRP data and operate material planning via Oracle system \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with Sourcing / Purchasing teams to improve delivery lead time, cost effectiveness and quality of materials from suppliers/vendors \xe2\x80\xa2 Align with Purchasing team to expedite material which are urgently required or overdue \xe2\x80\xa2 Seek and recommend solutions to overcome issues arised, in order to meet sales order schedule and address operational risks \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Engineering, Industrialization & Sourcing teams to observe the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure prompt supply of technical documents to support fabrication / assembly of internal and external production \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Warehouse, Engineering, Industrialization and Costing teams to minimize obsolete / excess stock and ensure business is at minimum liability \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with SSR and Sourcing teams to analyze and secure stock availability of high consumption and long lead time material through safety stock management or contract management \xe2\x80\xa2 Follow-up and expedite on shipment for material purchased from inter-company \xe2\x80\xa2 Receive and acknowledge orders from inter-company, generate supply and create shipment in system \xe2\x80\xa2 Create Work Definition and Work Order for production assembly process \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Warehouse and Production teams to complete picking of material and assembly to finish products \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure MRP planning attributes in system are updated consistently and maintained accurately \xe2\x80\xa2 Initiate transfer of excess stock from other organization to fulfill immediate demand \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Material Review Board (MRB) team for follow-up on disposition of rejected material \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep track of material loan request by other department personnel and ensure loaned material is returned promptly \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate with SSR on any delay of material that is not meeting required date and propose recovery \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Sourcing, Industrialization and Engineering teams on material which have demand but are End of Manufacturing (EOM) or obsolete (OBS) \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Sourcing team on new items requiring source and price set up REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATION : \xe2\x80\xa2 Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar areas of study \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience: Minimum 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 working experience in material planning and 2 years experience in purchasing \xe2\x80\xa2 Skills/Technical Requirements: o Able to use system (Oracle) to monitor, view material requirement and supplier related MRP information o Synchronize material supply with demand to ensure on-time order fulfilment o Able to work well with all related department to ensure effective planning o Good communication skills
